www.giftedbooks.com/ Great Potential Press is an award winning publishing company recognized for its excellent publications addressing giftedness and high level development.


www.abcontario.ca/ This is the Ontario website for the Association for Bright Children, a support and advocacy group established in 1975. ABC works to increase understanding of gifted children and to provide support to parents, educators and community members. There are chapters in the Toronto area that meet regularly, and often have guest speakers who address topical issues.


www.ontariogifted.org This site is quite new. However, it is informative with lots of current links, message boards, commentaries, and material on topics of interest to parents of high ability children.


www.gifted.org/ The Gifted Child Society site, this organization sponsors many activities designed to provide educational enrichment and support services for gifted children, assistance to parents, and information to teachers.


www.gifted-children.com This site bills itself as "a networking and information medium dedicated to making a difference in the pursuit of educational excellence for children of special talents and abilities." It is geared for "the parents of children with great promise." (There is a $10 yearly membership fee.)


www.mentoring.org The National Mentoring Partnership is a resource for all kinds of information about mentoring and mentoring initiatives in communities throughout the United States. This site is useful for anyone seeking to be a mentor or to run a mentoring program. A vast array of ideas has been presented and there is lots of information on practices, research, resources, and management tools.

www.nagc.org This is the site for the National Association for Gifted Children – a highly respected American-based "non-profit organization of parents, teachers, educators, community leaders and other professionals who unite to address the unique needs of all children and youth with demonstrated gifts and talents as well as those who may be able to develop their talent potential with appropriate educational experiences." NAGC has developed many wonderful programming initiatives, and has an annual conference that is well worth attending.


www.cfge.wm.edu The Center for Gifted Education at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, hosts this terrific site, with valuable links to useful resources and materials.


www.hunter.cuny.edu/gifted-ed This site provides articles, services, strategies, and other information about ways to support gifted learners.

www.hoagiesgifted.org A wide-ranging variety of resources for parents, children and educators can be found here. Includes support groups, links, research - a wealth of information pertaining to all kinds of topics related to giftedness. Also see www.hoagieskids.org for kids and teens.

www.SENGifted.org SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted) has an informative site. The vision statement: "SENG is dedicated to fostering environments in which gifted adults and children in all their diversity, understand and accept themselves and are understood, valued, nurtured, and supported by their families, schools, workplaces, and communities."

www.freespirit.com This site is hosted by an award winning publisher of books and various other kinds of learning materials for "teens, parents and educators, counselors, and everyone else who cares about kids." Information and some "lessons" are provided.

www.ditd.org The Davidson Institute for Talent Development has the following mission statement: "To recognize, nurture and support profoundly gifted young people and to provide opportunities for them to develop their talents in positive ways to create value for themselves and others." This website offers a great cyber-source database - lots of resources and articles for parents, children, and educators.
